What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed in your browser when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the website operator about how the site is being used.
Cookies are not programs and cannot execute code. They cannot access other files on your device. The data in a cookie is only sent back to the website that set it.
